Installation

$100 if you already have a router we can use. $250 with the outdoor radio and a Wi-Fi router included. The availability check is free.

No extra fees

No late fee, no reconnection fee, no paper-bill fee, and nothing to pay if you cancel. The full list is on our fees page.

Repairs

If the problem is on our equipment or our network, the visit costs nothing. A visit for your own equipment or wiring is $75.

How you get connected

Wireless internet here works by line of sight: a dish on your home talks to a radio on one of our towers.

We check your address
We look at whether one of our towers can see your home over the trees. This costs nothing, and we call you with the answer.

If something stops working, call the same number. Outages are posted on our status page and can be sent to you by text.

A Lake Wales business since 1998

MORnet started as a satellite TV shop and became the internet provider for places the cable company never reached.

1998
Morris Satellites opens as a DISH Network retailer serving the Lake Wales area.
2014
Corey Morris starts MORnet as a wireless internet provider, because rural Polk County had no reliable broadband.
2025
New owners join and invest in the network, starting with modern billing and around-the-clock monitoring.
2026
WingNet Communications becomes part of MORnet, and its customers are now served by MORnet.

Where we reach

Coverage depends on what your home can see, so the only sure answer is an address check. These are the towns we serve today.

Polk County

Lake Wales, Babson Park, Frostproof, Fort Meade, Bartow, Mulberry, Indian Lake Estates, Dundee, Winter Haven, Auburndale, Haines City, Davenport, Lakeland.

Highlands County

Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid.

Hardee County

Wauchula, Bowling Green, Zolfo Springs.

Internet by town: Frostproof, Lake Wales, Fort Meade, Bartow, Babson Park, or all towns.

Installs within 70 miles of Lake Wales: TV antennas, cameras and audio visual, and business phone systems, including Lakeland, Sebring, Tampa, Orlando and Sarasota.

Questions people ask us

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Every plan is month to month, and there is no fee to cancel.

Is there a data cap?

No. There are no data caps and no overage charges.

Will it work for video calls and online games?

Yes. Fixed wireless has low delay, unlike satellite, so video calls and online games work normally. If several people stream or work at the same time, choose Essential or Performance.

What equipment do I need?

An outdoor radio, which is the small dish, and a Wi-Fi router. You can use your own compatible router with the $100 installation, or we supply both with the $250 installation.

Does weather affect the connection?

Heavy storms can cause short interruptions. Everyday rain and heat do not. If your service drops, check the status page or call us.

What if my address isn't covered?

We will tell you honestly. Coverage changes as we add equipment, so ask us to keep your address on file.

Do you serve businesses?

Yes. The Business plan includes priority support, and a static IP address is available. For several locations or higher speeds, call us and we will quote it.
